Bug #4237 (Active): Addition of people to specimen records on recent import...

Scratchpads issue queue - Fri, 2014-08-22 18:43

After my recent 1-5000 specimen import I went to check if the specimens imported or not - they did but sometimes with additional collectors not present in the Brahms upload file (Knapp 8225 has only Personcode 49 in the original file (with a sheet from USM), but has ended up with another person attached as well); Knapp 10689 has ended up with S.Stern attached as well (Personcode-19248) that should not be there, and with no identification. This specimen upload has gone wrong I think!

Bug #4236 (Active): Locality data not importing from Brahms export

Scratchpads issue queue - Fri, 2014-08-22 18:38

Hi there....
The fix for this seems not to have worked - now neither the locality nor the locality text fields are displaying!

Bug #4235 (Active): Unable to Import taxa

Scratchpads issue queue - Fri, 2014-08-22 16:51

I am unable to import about half of the taxa for the site. The error that I am receiving is SQLSTATE23000: Integrity constraint violation: 1062 Duplicate entry '0' for key 'revision_id'

Bug #4234 (Active): Cannot change name of field

Scratchpads issue queue - Thu, 2014-08-21 22:22

Cannot change the name of the field "Included taxa" in the Mosquito Description Page.

Bug #4233 (Active): Field is locked

Scratchpads issue queue - Thu, 2014-08-21 21:47

The field Phylogeny is locked and cannot be edited. I want to change the title of this field. I am currently off line for major changes to the site. Please correct so that I can edit the title of this field.

Bug #4232 (Active): Locality data not importing from Brahms export

Scratchpads issue queue - Wed, 2014-08-20 19:56

Katherine and I discovered that the detailed locality data were not being exported from Brahms, but now they are but they are still not being uploaded into the Scratchpad. I suspect that this is the result of a column in the import file being labelled as something that the scratchpad does not understand (location is a one word piece of text, and locality text is the descriptive bit) - location I can see, but not locality text.

Thanks - Sandy

Bug #4231 (Active): Display of "type" for taxon term

Scratchpads issue queue - Wed, 2014-08-20 14:56

It would be good to have a type block to sit with nomenclature so the type summaries (not the same as specimens) so all names (including synonyms) could be seen by users.

Bug #4230 (Active): Error trying to import names

Scratchpads issue queue - Mon, 2014-08-18 18:42

I have been unable to import taxon names from the lifedesk classification to Scratchpad. It gets to a certain point and then stops. The error message that I get is this: SQLSTATE23000: Integrity constraint violation: 1062 Duplicate entry '0' for key 'revision_id

I might have brought this to you guys before but I could use all the help I can get.

Bug #4229 (Active): Removed taxonomy records in list

Scratchpads issue queue - Mon, 2014-08-18 16:01

Is there any way to fully remove deleted taxonomic records from the drop down menu? This can create a bunch of confusion for contributors. This comes from multiple imports.

Bug #4228 (Active): Implement DwC-A import

Scratchpads issue queue - Mon, 2014-08-18 09:56

The GIASIP website will acquire content from an instance of the IPT. Data will be provided in a DwC-A format, which means we need to be able to read this format, and import all content from it. I would imagine the DwC-A, and specifically the meta.xml file could be read, and different Feeds importers created based on the structure.

Bug #4227 (Active): Migration problem: Google Analytics tags not migrated to upgraded site

Scratchpads issue queue - Sun, 2014-08-17 12:36

Hi guys,

Only just realised this but we've had no GA data since the migration, so it looks as though our GA tags were not migrated across - can you remedy, please?

Thanks
Natalie

Bug #4226 (Active): Problem importing specimens/observations

Scratchpads issue queue - Thu, 2014-08-14 09:07

Hello,
I am having problems importing Specimen records with the excel template. Collector and identifier are often imported incorrectly. Instead seemingly random names from the list of users are assigned. I have attached the template file I used to import the 100 specimen records that are in the scratchpads now. I have checked the column header names in the template and have tried various other things without luck. Could you check it please. For example ETHOIKOS:EBD:10272 (identifier wrong) and ETHOIKOS:EBD:10266(collector wrong).
Thanks

Bug #4225 (Active): Biblio - taxonomic name

Scratchpads issue queue - Wed, 2014-08-13 18:16

When I import biblio, I can import keywords longer than 1000 characters, which automatically translate into taxonomic names and thus link to these taxa.

However, whenever I want to edit such a record I get an error regarding the keyword length.
This is also the case when manually entering a reference, and then I get the same error for taxonomic name.

This is unfortun ate,. since many publications refer to many species, and I woulsd like to link those all, even if the names exceed 1000 characters.
Is it possible to mend this?

Erik

Bug #4224 (Active): Custom CSS

Scratchpads issue queue - Tue, 2014-08-12 17:38

Trying to set the colour of symbols in my map key (go to checklist, pick a species, click Map tab - Key is at the bottom, below the NBN map). Tried using <span style="font-color.."> in my tag rewrite code, but the style info gets stripped out - presumably by the HTML filter. <span id="..."> might work if I can get the font color and size attributes into a CSS file.

Is there a way to create a custom CSS file? This is a fairly common facility offered by many Drupal themes.

Bug #4223 (Active): Use of groups to restrict visibility of content?

Scratchpads issue queue - Mon, 2014-08-04 22:56

Hi Scratchpads Team,
Apologies, it's me again. I would like to use Groups on our PONG Scratchpad to restrict the visibility of most (if not all) of the content - essentially we would like to use it as a project website to organise our content prior to publication (we'd like to try out the Pensoft publication tools in doing so, as well) before we make the content publicly accessible. I can't find much information on the Scratchpads website/training manuals, or in the bug tracker. I've set up a group, got the 'group content' tab displayed on the top menu, and put two pieces of general description content linked to the taxon page 'Heterospathe'. I've put them audience = the group members, and restricted them to group members only only, but they still display whether or not the user is logged in or a member of the group. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong! Could someone possibly take a look at the site and give me some pointers? It would be great to get this working asap, as I only have a couple of weeks to try to get this site up and running for our collaborators to use.
Many thanks, and best wishes,
Lauren

Bug #4222 (Active): Posibility to export specimen/observation with reference to locality

Scratchpads issue queue - Mon, 2014-08-04 10:48

a dataprovider asked me, to provide him a list of specimens I determined for him and uploaded to the website. Well, it seems to be quite hard to export such list. If I use "Import" and get the list for specimens, then do the same for locations, I get this list, too... but no reference to each other! (there is the ID for locations in specimen list, but no such thing in locality list). Also, there is no direct possibility on the website (just export to xml or cv which produce strange thing while importing in Excel...). I guess I missed out something...

Bug #4221 (Active): Provide more info in map hover?

Scratchpads issue queue - Fri, 2014-08-01 19:08

As I understand, hovering over map symbols currently only provides latitude and longitude coordinates. Is there a way to display more information about a specimen or locality in the hover box?

Bug #4220 (Active): Color map symbols based on Specimen field value?

Scratchpads issue queue - Fri, 2014-08-01 19:06

Similar to a suggestion in #1972, would it be possible to support multiple colors of map symbols based on a value in the Specimen node? For example, we might want to differentiate those records that are preserved specimens from those records which are only literature records (it could even be some hard-coded color mapping to the value in Basis of record field). The former could have black symbols while the latter have grey symbols (the axis of variation for symbols could be something as simple as the degree of saturation). The OP was suggesting a distinction based on introduced/native status, but that is fairly similar to what we are looking for...

Bug #4219 (Active): Term reference in text fields?

Scratchpads issue queue - Fri, 2014-08-01 18:54

Is it possible to include term references (so a term title is displayed) in a text field?

E.g. in a Taxon Description, we may have text in the Diagnostic description field that references another taxon. We would like to be able to provide a link to the term without actually typing in the term name because term names may change. For example, we would ultimately want some text rendered as: " Bembidion ex is quite similar to Bembidion why", but the text in the text field would be something more like

<p>Bembidion ex is quite similar to <a href="taxonomy/term/2">[term[2]->name()]</a></p>

Where [term[2]->name()] is pseudocode for referencing the name of the term with tid = 2.

Is this possible?

If it is not possible, is there some means of global find/replace that could be used on a site such that text fields could be updated with taxon name changes?

Bug #4218 (Active): Re-open Bug #4216?

Scratchpads issue queue - Fri, 2014-08-01 10:56

Dear Team,
Could you please re-open Bug #4216? It was closed by Simon 2 days ago and I updated it, but I am unable to re-open the bug. I've had this problem before - I don't seem to get any option for doing so.
Many thanks for your time,
Lauren
